New 12m RIB

A recent design of ours for a 12m RIB is progressing well with Watermark Marine. Conceived as a RIB capable of fast offshore cruising - we have combined a quick hull with excellent sea keeping abilities. A double chine hull form, giving good beams togther with performance, deep V sections with lots of bow recovery etc.

A number of lay-outs and engine / drive options have been considered - covering uses from a full-on cabin RIB through to open working RIBs.

Attached are a couple of images of the hull plug being constructed.

Please contact me for any further details.

Adam

Nice project Adam
who is making your tube and what is the diameter. Will it be a tapered tube for the open rib as well.

Thanks Andre - actually all being built in China! Tubes as well. I will have to check on the tube dias as it was some time ago when I actually designed her. Certainly was some taper - but not too drastic.

Also just finished a 12m stepped hull RIB design as a fast patrol boat - which is 'meant' to be going into production soon. That has a tube diametre of 600mm tapering down to 320mm. Although other versions may need different tube geometry.
