New boat big miles
Picked up new toy last week ,between thursday and tonight we've done 260 NM's. It's doing approx 1 ltr to 1NM which I'm happy with, this during running in.
would recomend both the manufacturer to date and the performance of the engine. 21" momontarily touched 5,800=39kts but this was'nt full throt - I get the feeling the engine would have humped through the 6,000 limit if I had let it.
23" in coming up to try..

Definately a cracking looking boat, really do like the colour scheme!
Talking about getting on the plane, mine leaps onto the plane when I open up now, from standstill, I can do 0-50mph in about 8 seeconds or so! Very very pleased with my new engines

Ahh - your boat LOOKS bigger than that.
Maybe not though - probably down to the 4 blade 19" prop - acceleration is somewhat brisk to say the least but top speed isn't what it should be - not such a prob this time of year though!!!

Superb looking Rib. The ribcraft has to be my favourite looking rib, with allround performance and handling. 5.8 good choice.
Any chance of a few more pics

another photee
here's another from the same day.
Incedently came back after a beer and a seriously scabby ferro cement motor sailer had moved into my space and rafted me on the outside of him!! no damage or teeth would have been lost.

If it is, thats the pontoon I was bashing with a 38 foot Benetau last week. It certainly looks familier.
