Looks like it to me.
I'd be interested to see it in action.

It's a stepped hull, meant to create air under the hull to reduce drag and improve planing somehow. Some techy willcorrect/expand I'm sure.

They don't look like steps on a 'traditional' stepped hull to me?

Be interesting to see what it's like in a large following Sea in the Solent. I reckon with it's wave piercing design it could be a wet ride?

Actually, I stand by my comment, the website says "hull design - Two stepped decompressing V"

Thank goodness, I was beginning to think it was only me! Much as I aspire to a Goldfish, not this one ...

I actually think that the hull of the older model looks a bit nicer (I've got one with the older hull construction). As the colors of the boat can be customized to whatever liking, I'm not going to comment on that.
But, with Goldfish, it's all about performance. They say this new hull is a couple of knots faster than the old one. Mine is around 58 knots top, this one should reach 61 knots. Goldfish also says the new hull acts like a 30 foot boat in the sea thereby handling waves even better than the older version - which is saying a lot!

I'm surprised your boat doesn't go faster. Having raced, and beaten , the longer Goldfish 36 which had the same engine, that was in the low to medium 70 knots.
They are beautiful boats however.

Yes, but the 36 has two of the same engine!
