Best behaviour then when out on the Kent Coast!

When we visited them a few years ago at a Gillingham Marina open day, the big hard boat wasn't used that much as it cost too much to run!

I'm guessing the hard boat you are on about is the Nelson'ish thing behind it. That picture is in Portsmouth harbour and that is probably the MoD plod.

Hampshire police have got rid of at least a couple of their bigger boats and are going down the RIB route.

We participated in a U.K. tender and won it. I do not know who else took part and really not interested . A good result for us

The rib arrived to SDS exactly 8 weeks after the hull was passed off by the U.K. Southampton based surveyor who wanted to see the inside before the deck and cabin were in place. Infusion method for making the hull and only high density closed cell foam for the stringers and transom. No marine ply was used.
Maritime Filming did a photo shoot for us on Thursday 21 May and the weather was perfect. The following day the weather changed and to my delight as the Kent Police guys were facing a 180Nm passage to Sheerness via Looe Channel. A lot of you here knows what means in shi**y weather.

I got off in Brighton and they carried on to Eastbourne for the night. The following day they faced a 100 Nm passage in not to pleasant weather conditions.

By the time they reached their destination they knew they had for sure purchased the right craft. Well I knew that from day one.[emoji106]

MOD police yes. And it's a Halmatic.

Hampshire had some major cutbacks a little while ago and have considerably downsized.
