Ha, it is perfectly economical cruising at 36 knots, with 8 adults, ok yes I am running 2 engines, so double the fuel usage, but at 1l/mile per engine I do not feel that that is high, however when I did open it up, with 8 adults on board dressed in Santa outfits at the xmas cruise, with 3/4 tank of fuel we achieved 53.3 knots (without trimming, thought it best to keep the rib firmly planted in the water) the fuel usage went to about 3-4 litres per mile per engine so yes it becomes thirsty. The only problem is that once you have done 53 knots and you drop back to 36 knots I got complaints from my passengers I was not going fast enough!!!

Czesc Marcin
and welcome to RibNet. Nice pictures . I hear from Chris that you both
had a very good day out a few days ago and that it was blowing F8. Enjoy the rib and please post some pictures when you start operating with paying passengers. I would say you will have full seats on each trip
Powodzenia

May pay you a visit in August as I will spend my holiday in Poland this year (although promised my wife to stay out of boating )
Perhaps my company will send you some groups of people for seasafari as we owe majority in one ship yard in Gdansk and frequent sailors from Iceland.

[QUOTE=MarcinPL;183274] Hi,

I think alot of us will know Gdansk which as one of the cities along with Gadania that were part of the Solidarity and Lech Walesa.
I would like to visit Poland sometime soon. We have many Polish in Ireland now and I hope we can look after them.
I would say our economyis oer cooked tho, not sure how much longer it will go on.
Meanwhile Bogib, Ribbing is not really boating, is it. You could keep your promise and still get wet!!!!! As the captain says in Pirates of the Carribbean,
its more of an interpetation rather than a rule!!!!!

Try to tell my wife that, after our nearly 28 years she has not been on board on any of our boats and she has refused many trips I have offered to take her abroad as it has involved ribbing/boating

A little longer than ours I think. Ireland gets many EU grants to build things, whereas we get very little.

Bogi, Kolobrzeg is a nice place to visit. A bit away from Ostroda > Krakow but if time allows you it would be worth your while
