New Town Creek Sunday 30 June

There is no doubt in my mind that one of the best picnic areas on the Isle of Wight is New Town Creek. Well that is our favourite place and last Sunday the good weather permitted another picnic. With high water after 6 PM we all could enjoy a nice BBQ with some good wine

Looks like a great spot, did you use a tender to get to the beach?

No we dropped an anchor off the stern of the Humber and using another one on a long rope from the bow to secure to the land. The tide was coming in so ever so often we just pulled in the rope
Steve was lucky to get a place on the swinging mooring for his Sealine and we just brought them in by rib.
