We had 60 on the GPS heading to Cowes in the morning , recon it was blowing a 5 on the way back, sat easily at about 36-37 into the head sea with quite a smooth ride - only had her a month so learning every time we go out in her

Been busy over the winter

Rewired and new switch gear

Props checked and overhauled by steel developments

Stripped all upholstery and re-trimmed / new reticulated foam - thanks Peter Baker upholstery in Cowes

Engines and gearboxes fully serviced inc water pumps, belts, idlers, plugs, filters oils etc

Replaced a couple of faulty speakers

Vinyl graphics supplied new carbon black decals

Added a wireless remote control to the electric anchor windlass

Replaced the engines dual helm control assembly ( old unit had corrosion starting on the handles )

Ordered some new tubes from Italy, carbon effect black hypalon, rib shop in the hamble fitted them, top job

Went for a rag down the Solent today, you forget how naughty the verado's are at full chat !! Looking forward to a great summer

Couple more pic's, its scary how much time you can put in to your hobbies, pretty much every weekend over the winter I was doing something or other on her to get ready for this season, but I won't deny I find tinkering is half the fun of boat ownership! ( Lucky to have very understanding other-half! )

Got a few more plans for her inc trim tabs - ran tabs on past boats and found them useful in certain seas/circumstances. A thorough clean and polish this coming week and we're good to go
