New Toy - 'Katie'

I've had a few hard boats and Jet Skis over the years, purchased my first RIB about six years ago, Predator 6.60 / 150hp Optimax, then upsized to a Stingher 800gt / 300hp Verado three summers ago, fantastic boat - I'd have another tomorrow!

But.....had a itch for a twin engined rig - sold the Stingher 8m late August and after looking around found and purchased

Only had her a month but put a few hours on her, looking forward to a great 2015 on the water

Lovely bit of kit you have there, doesn't look like a wannabe life boat but I like it all the better for it

If that means they are all weather capable and built to take a pounding - bring them on

Looking like one and being one are different things and you don't have to look like one to be capable in the ruff stuff

Thanks for all the compliments , I'm extremely pleased with the boat ( however my credit card is looking a little abused!! ) We were after a leisure style RIB and the family will enjoy the creature comforts ( swim platform /shower / table / sun deck / toilet ) but I got to say her party trick is the performance, from cruising at 35 knots if you plant the throttles she leaps out of the water and hits 60 knots in a matter of seconds, she's been clocked at 63
We were off brambles bank a week or so ago in some confused lumpy seas and she just keeps charging through, very impressive

Tim, I'll nip over to Cowes next opportunity and rob a brew off you!

Looked fine moored up at Town Quay yesterday - is she a 10 metre ?
We were moored adjacent to you ( Hot Fish ) but the Stingher sits much higher than the Humber we have

Yes, she's 10m, saw your Humber and that looked a nice rig caught a bit of air on the way back to Yarmouth, old wind had picked up, great fun! Where you based / launch from?
