New VIDEO CAM KIT

Hi Guys & Gals,
Just brought one of these (http://www.vio-pov.com/index.php) it's the DOGS BO**OCKS, Cam head & mic water proof to 3 meters & the recorder to 1 meter. The footage on their site is no where near as good as in practice (its compressed) i found 'www.actioncameras.co.uk' in Park Royal, London very helpfull & have them in stock. Mention my name (Mike Patrick) to Robin there & he will do you a good deal SRRP is £550.00inc for the complete kit including:

Software (exellent & very user friendly),
1 Gig SD card (50 mins of recording on fine, will take a 2 gig),
Water proof Cam with intergrated mic,
Water proof Recorder with screen,
Water proof wireless remote with wrist band (so you can store the recorder in your pocket),
Selection of cables for conection to TV & PC,
All the mounts for the cam you could ever want,
All in a custom soft case!
Bargin i think, & the recorder is totally upgradable via free software updates as they are going to make a zoom & wide ange lense also you will be able to use bigger SD cards soon. It takes 4 x AA batterys (cam is powered by the recorder & i have managed 5hrs before they are showing any signs of going low & the build is like military quality.
HIGHLY RECOMENDED!!!!

Looks great - why the hell do people continue to use stupid low quality small streaming videos - if you could download the file you could see what it's really like - bit silly for people trying to sell cameras.............

Hi Codder's
I agree totally, if you give Robin a call at 'Actioncameras' they can give a link that will show it at it best, but trust me you would'nt be disappointed & as i say the build is second to none, you can leave the recorder on the deck in the back of the boat in all the water & when you take it home & wash it it's like new again no prob's. I got rid of my Arcos with helmet cam after using this bad boy as its not even close in terms of Video quality, this thing is as good as any camcorder ive used under a £1000.00.

I wish the camera was even higher res - 1gb cards are tiny these days!!!

May be tempted by one though - or maybe wait for the mk2 or whatever.........
