Into the sun
Daniel desperately trying to keep to the 3,000rpm recommended run-in limit....and following copious derision from his 6 year old daughter, Bethany, for driving too slowly, ignored the owner's manual completely and started enjoying himself.

Dan's Valiant has only served to emphasise how spartan my commercial spec Searider really is. I hate his RIB because it's got a power trim/tilt engine, Igloo cooler box, a bow locker, plushly upholstered driver's seat/spacious storage cupboard, sporty steering wheel, windscreen to protect the electronics, stainless steel grab rails.......

Family outing
My brother joined us in his 3.8m Bombard SIB, a remarkably capable little boat with which he spent the afternoon water skiing.

Sub-5metre boys' day out.
Yet another photo call on Osea Island at the end of a scorching day out on the Blackwater. I am delighted to report that Daniel performed faultlessly on his first ever day driving a RIB, amazed everyone with his trailer reversing and has renounced his jetski for a life of ribbing.

Looks like you had a great day - the Blackwater looks good. I must check it out before not too long. I launched at Southwold this afternoon and headed south for a bit. Sea was dead still, if a bit hazy.

Phil (& Daniel),
Looks like you had a fantastic day. Rather of been there than Malaysia although retail opportunities for "genuine" Rolex's are bit less widespread on Osea Island!
If you repeat the trip (as I'm sure you will) another time we'll meet up. If the weathers that good I'll get my hardboat wakeboarder types to bring their hairdressers boat out for a spin!
Cheers,
Alan

Is that you with the shorts on Mr Davies? Looked a great day. I saw the thread on Friday about going out yesterday and was kicking myself for buying my boat off of a two bob dealer who's only interest is selling Campion bow riders with wakeboard towers, ( have'nt got Ribeye back yet) i think he's taking the Pi-s.
Hope to see you soon.
Richard

No, Richard, I was taking the picture. My legs are far hairier than any of those featured in the above photo, not to mention a tad shorter! That's me on the first page driving the Searider. Please note that my distorted face is purely the result of the g-force generated by the Honda 30 and has nothing to do with an accident of birth.
Let me know as soon as you get the Ribeye back and we'll get a cruise organised - can't wait to see that Yammie in action
