There's no place for that sort of stuff here. This is a RIB forum, don't you know?
As a penance you now have to arrange for me to have a go in it!

the cost is the only problem, think 16 sparkplugs every change and the rest x 2...
Fun to drive, not to own....

It does the heart good....
Nice to see you guys slavering over a true piece of Americana, a Cigarette offshore power boat. Born and bred in South Florida by Don Aronow the brand is infamous, which adds to the mystique... Anyone besides me on this forum that has been to the old Thunder alley facility Cigarette had? N.E. 188th st. believe it is all probably Condos by now...

I had a go on one similar in Gran Canaria.
The "BIG RED" she was imported from New Zealand along with the owner and had twin chevrolets and an Aluminium hull.
The owner claimed he could spin her through 360 degrees but that did not quite happen on my trip, although he was not far off at about 270 degrees.
Awesome!!!!!

It is joint owned by Andy Bath and Bill Donahue. im sure both those names will ring some bells! its based in christchurch opposite rossiter's boat yard. if anyone knowns the area they know where i mean. it had some silencers fitted as they have had complaints already! they dont work tho!! i say leave it be!
in the wise words of cookee: "If it's too loud - you're too old!"

This kind of boat are crazy and fun.
A friend of me have -06 Baja With 2x420hp and last year he did 64knots.
This year the engines are overloaded with two kenny bell (not that brand, but the same sort). Last year at 3500rpm he did 45knots and this year he did 54 knots at the same rpm with new props in wrong size...just testing. He expect 72-75knots with right props... is that crazy and fun. YES
