Not RIB related, in truth

Just a post to show that LimeyDal doesn't have the market cornered on pinnipeds.

These are California Sea Lions lounging along the Breakwater where I normally launch the boat when diving. They seem to be sort of seasonal; sometimes they are there in such numbers that they take over the boat ramps and sink moored boats, other times they are conspicuously absent.

Last weekend, it seemed there was an abundance of young ones.

Other pic: The Monterey Fire Dept's newish floating fire truck (twin Honda BF-225's, with the pump for the firefighting nozzle driven by a on-board diesel engine of some sort, as I recall.
