But what's the boat's name Keith?

Matt () Brown

EDIT: I see you've edited yours to put the name in now, so you DO remember the name!

Basically the waves started going over us instead of under. Great fun at first, but it soon got tedious, annoying, and uncomfortable. Then the steering went stupid and decided it only wanted to go straight on or left.

Llynhome - Double 'L'

Well done Keith, now you have remembered the name, we will move onto the spelling! - 'Llynhome'.
Matt, you spent days on her and became very attached to her from what I saw you couldn't let go, you should have got it right.

Listen, I didn't have to know the name alright, as I was on it, not trying to call it on the radio!

Yeah, I did get quite attached. My fingers are just about able to get back to their normal positions now. Back's a bit sore though now, bloody delayed action pain from the tubes!

All good fun though!

Matt

Gary

Unfortunately we were unable to take any pictures going through Bardley Sound. There were waves about 30 feet from trough to peak! I was more concerned with hanging on for dear life than getting the camera out

Watching those massive waves approach was awesome. Looking down from the top was exciting. The overfalls around the headland were very very uncomfortable. We had to go out to deep water to avoid them.

Yeah it was a bit of a bumpy ride. Ian seemed to be having a great time round Bardsey on that nice comfy jockey seat, damn him...

The tubes were actually quite comfortable to sit on in that swell, the pain came from having to hold on bloody tight.

Armchair

Anyone got an armchair I can fit to a 5.4 Searider before I take anymore nesh 'ribsters' out again?
I'm sure a nice leather one with adjustable lumber support will allow a pleasant trip.
Please deliver FOC to Matt's home.

The seating was fine! It's just a bit hard to appreciate your excellent driving when you happen to be concentrating on ignoring the pain in your fingers. Actually something like some of that bike handlebar grip tape round a bit of the steel hand holds would probably improve it quite a bit.
