On the Rocks!

Came across this interesting parking job while elaving the Bay today.
Can't imagine what this guy is telling his wife on the phone

Came across the coastguard boat that pulled me over last week so hailed them and gave them a 10x8 shot I took of them last week. Hoping to get them used to me "snapping away" in the Bay so they wont bother me as much.

And finaly on the way back in couldn't resist this photo opportunity.
Definately 1 craft that needs tubes fitting!!

cheers Dal

Amphicar

Yes,
I thought the car was pretty unique until I checked out this web site
http://www.amphicar.com/

Seems they still have quite a strong following over here.
In fact there is a Rallye/Regatta ???? whatever! here on Aug 20th,so should provide some good photo ops.
Watching how the car behaved in the Bay though i think I will bring extra safety gear.. Didn't seem that stable!!
Funny when he switched on the windscreen wipers though and cruised on past me all very matter of fact.

Alex,
to get the shots of the birds I used a highly technical photographic technique.

OOOoooooowww

Codprawn,
Oh I really want one of those!!!!
Do you think Mr Branson would mind loaning me one?
Think San Diego would be ideal for showing off this product and show the Yanks once again we still have a thing or two up on them.
With all the boat ramps we have here,i could spend days playing with this toy.
Does it come complete with "Bond Girl"??
cheers Dal

Too wimpy for me - what I REALLY want is one of these

http://www.stalwart.org/

Nearly bought one once - they go for about £4000 in good nick - would just love to see their faces if I took one of these out through the lock gates!!!

Apparently once a soldier based in Germany nicked one - he drove it back to France and just carried on across the channel.....
