Only got a hull so far + a couple of jockey seats

Visited the Ribcraft factory today - to make a couple more alterations to the boat spec.

I got my first look at my boat which unfortunately still has a long way to go before I can pick her up...

Yep - your looking at plain old naked plywood there...

Im not sure if they flowcoat the plywood bits you see - the non slip deck is applied directly to the ply i think.

Its covered with a resin then they chuck loads of little resin balls all over it let it set then sweep away the ones that didnt stick - it then gets painted.

The end result will look like this except im going for dark blue tubes.

Not so long since we went thru that phase with Merlin but you'll be bombin along with a big grin before you know it!
