Orca, captain and first mate

The first mate is shaping up well - with a few more years experience, he'll make a fine captain himself.

Here's a picture showing better how we carry our kids in comfort and safety (when they're sitting down, of course!)

Bryan

I looked at a ribcraft 4.8 with mariner 50hp 4 stroke a couple of months ago, it was a 98 model and in sound nick although in need of a clean

could have picked it up for 6500 which I think would have been a very good price, but bought the Arimar instead

the ribcraft 4.8 has a superb reputation as a very seaworthy boat for its size

Bryan,

In looking around at second hand RIBs before buying our Ribcraft (new), we never saw a single extra long seat like this. They must exist - it was a chap from Tornado who recommended it to me in the first place.

As far as I know, Ribcraft had not made one before - but you'd have to ask them to be sure.

cheers,
Simon
