A bit of a misty overcast day, but fun all the same!
zoomed up and down the Russell for a bit then went and had a look at the fairy castle. For those of you who have never been to the Channel Islands this is where the Barclay Brothers live. They bought Jethou some years back and had this very ornate castle built......the things you do when you have too much money! (A joy I don't seem to be able to share!!)
Can't winge too much as they do sponsor the air search and rescue and have two boats and a helicopter that if not used come to the rescue of local boats in distress.......I wonder who had a tow back home off them then!?
The rest are in and around Herm Island (very nice new Herm catarmaran moored in the background) and the last is tucking her into bed on her summer mooring.......I know it's winter but the forecast was good and the tide was out (Also very, very nice Interceptor behind coming in.......my ultimate dream boat......but I need a lottery win.......so not much chance of that then!).
