hi Brutus, seems like you have to really want to go there to make it worth while, makes your successful trips even more impressive, the pics & videos you have posted show just how nice the place can be, but I guess there are some very challenging trips weather wise, being so far south great to see that there are still places to go for true adventure, well done

I met the daughter once. Briefly. Nice guns (the brand, not the daughter.)

Are you familiar with Carl Krupansky? I had the pleasure of lobster diving with him a few times - that guy's nuts. Getting on in years now, unfortunately.

Thanks for the pics and vids;

jky

Great video,
Brings back happy memories when twelve of us from N.Ireland went fishing for the sea trout at Rio Galleous staying at Estancia Las Buitreras (pardon my spelling).
Great fishing, great food and some serious wind.

“Is that the lake with the landlocked salmon - Washington State?”

Dear Portnahaven; no, it’s a Californian speargun manufacturer that also fabricates carbon fiber Hawaiian three-prongs. Both of which are fantastic tools used for hunting fish.

Estancia Las Buitreras? You and your mates know how to travel. I’ve driven down there, very cool indeed. Stateneiland is currently in my sights, I’d love to organize a RHIB caravan for the crossing, so as to mitigate the risk involved. But that’s a couple of years away.

Dear jyasaki; of course I’m familiar with the name - never met the man though. Very cool to have been able to dive with a spearo of that caliber.
