You've definitely set me a challenge for next time I'm there Chris.

Penrhyn Mawr headland is epic Steve, well worth exploring, just pick a calm day the coast line from Porth Ruffyudd to North Stack is pepper’d with interesting features to explore, sea caves, stacks, hidden coves etc, a depth sounder is useful but to be honest if the water is calm enough then its usually so clear anything just below the surface is visible anyway, and most of the caves are plenty deep enough even on low water

We did a lot of exploring when we was there, by land and sea, not as close as you got as the conditions wouldn't allow it. We actually stayed on a little CL site in the caravan between The Range and South Stack, fantastic views.

some great costal walks all around there, great views and epic sunsets
the Lynn Peninsula is worth a visit to, especially down towards Bardsey, and on a good day Bardsey is a special place to visit
