That particular landing was quite hard as it landed on the sponson at over 45deg angle because my friend managed to put his weight on that side mid flight
. But on a normal flat landing it is supprisingly soft, even from an 8ft high flight. Due to the hull shape, they create an air cushion underneath them. Best way i can explain it is- If you drop a sheet of 8+4 ply flat on the ground it doesnt slam due to the air cushion-same applys with these tunnel hulls.
To be honest, i really cant understand why these arent more popular.
