Plymouth to Pwllheli the Long Way Round

A few pics of a skippering job I did back in the summer on a new Princess 50.

The trip was over 10 days and used £15000 of fuel.

I liked it here, got to know a very nice Highland Beef Farmer.

That is 3 x 30 day hung, 20oz fillets on the flybridge BBQ

More pics to follow shortly.

When we filled up in Lowestoft, the fuel pump looked like something from the Heartbeat set, nearly 2 1/2 hours to fuel up.

Was down your way Thursday night stopped in Port thingy marina, Left Falmouth 8.30am Yesterday morning arrived home 20.30 last night. Just £2000 of fuel.

'Pendennis'. You should've given me a shout, we could've had a pint and I would've had some of that fuel off of you.

In Newlyn you would've been in amongst stinking trawlers, Fal was probably the nicer option.

Jono - did the owner still pay you even though you made a wrong turn when you left the marina?

that's a great job

I'd show photos and describe where i've been in my working week. I just don't think the M6 and M56 combined with talk of pensions quite cuts it though!!

Glad to see the RNLI navigation courses are paying off!! Right not left jono
