Posting embedded Videos
It would appear that HTML posting is turned off throughout the forum, which is a shame since you can't easily embed a YouTube or similar video.
What's the suggested method for posting video on the board?

When you reply to this post look above the text box,on the right hand side you'll see a little youtube icon. Click on that and then paste the script.

The code works like this:

You can either type it in manually or use the YouTube icon that JSP mentioned.

I would rather the link than embedded - you get more features if you end up on the youtube site - like being able to use fullscreen!!!

Kerny / Sparrow - when you click reply you should see this something like the attachment (the youtube icon is the last on the row above the text box). If you don't then you probably need to change your "editior" by going to:
UserCP
then
Edit options (near the middle on left hand side)
then in the last option (miscellaneous) you change that to "Enhanced Interface - Wysiwyg" (you will also need to answer the seemingly pointless question with "boat").

I do not have that as a screen, I just have title and message boxes no extras. So I am doing something wrong but what??

Billy,
You just have the basic editor turned on (this is good if you are a vBulletin supergeek (think of a certain redbay fan) who has memorised all the 'commands' - but for mere mortals the wysiwyg (what you see is what you get) editor is easier - but will use a little more bandwidth etc.
So to change that click my link which says "Edit options" in my earlier post. Near the top of the screen there is an antispam question which you need to answer (with boat) and then scroll to the very bottom. There there is a drop down menu - change this to wysiwyg. Save.
Should be fixed.
