Hi Nick.
I'm Richard's better half. I believe R22 is a Mark Pascoe rib. They're based in Southampton and a quick search on Google should get you their contact details. I've seen the boat up close both on the water and on land and she's a beauty. Gareth Williams drives her and came either first or second overall in his class this year I think so she obviously goes well.

R22 Are the national Formula 2 champions and its got a 330 hp diesel in it - only good for low to mid 60's, but good enough to win the championships this year! A diesel boat won last year, John Puddifoots' but next year things may change!

Mr phrateau - I refer you to John Kennetts (the moderator of this forum) answer - he is correct in saying that the outboard engined boats are indeed "batboats". The Inboard boats are of the same design and generally known as V24's.

Hope that clears up any misunderstanding,
