Lovely boat and great engine - shouldn't it be in the Gallery section though?

I'd say this is where it'll be at!! Looking good. Would love to see more pics of the hull when you have them out of the water next. Who designed it?

Hi All, first post...so Hi and have to say great site, loads of useful information

I know this is an old thread, however I have just purcased Prime 2.

The boat is in great condition and will have it on the water for the first time tomorrow.
I have had her serviced fro top to bottom and short of a bit of lube required she has a clean bill of health

Would anyone who knows these boats well ( i know thats a long shot as only 2 were built) be able to tell me if the A frame that is fitted to her is man enough to tow a waterskier?

Thanks for any help.

Welcome, I hope you have a lot of fun with her

Unfortunately I don't think you have a hope in hell of that A frame pulling a skier without bending or being ripped off. Assuming you are suggesting attaching the tow rope to the top that is.

Nasher.

Your quite right Nasher. We put these boats together for Bruce a few years back now. The A frames were never designed to take any load just nav lights and a VHF antenna. Hope you have a lot of fun with her.

Thanks Guys, Looking at it I thought that was the case, so will look to replace it over the coming weeks.

Ribshop, would be able to remember what bilge bung you put on the boat, the original has been "mis-placed" by the old owner and the "standard" Plastimo one part number 16713 is too small.

I am aout to replace the whole thing, but if you know what was in it thatwould be a great help.

Will take some photos of her on the water and post Monday.

Thanks again

Keith
