Richard - ever the optimist!

Any excuse to avoid getting Blue Ice wet. Last time it was nuts but they're fixed now!

Can't remember wot Canute did...

I had to look that one up

No I'm not going to command the tides...but I'm hoping for a spin desperately because of the new arrival...

However safety first as usual...!!!

So Plan B involves BBQ only!!!!!!!!!! (and Ł1 to squeeze Black Jack's tubes)

That's worrying...70 mph sounds a lot...must mean 55 knots or so???

See plan B above...

Well, ECMWF are showing 25-30 metres/sec for the Solent area on Sat, which converts to 55-67mph or 48-58kts. Look at their chart for Friday - they reckon it'll be seriously blowing up - 89mph, so Friday will be a good indicator to see if they've got it right.

We might take the opportunity to go out on Wednesday if I can.

Ian, 4400 views of your thread. That's a lot of interest.

It's looking good but I hope you've got some serious security for it now you've shown the world what they can steal and where it's going to be for a while. Remember Richard's story about engine bolts? You wouldn't want that lump af ally to go missing.

Very secure, both locks on trailer and engine and 24 hour compond watch.
At home it will be locked indoors so I'm hoping for no prob's. Insurance is sorted and got spare boats if the need arises.
Just want to get out on her now, 70mph winds or not. Not sure Deb's is up for that though!
Still looking for a weather window this week to get her over. I'll be keeping a close watch on ALL forecast.

AAAAAAA calm down calm down

I forgot to add to the security notes that all metallic surfaces will be connected to the mains and the razor wire boundary along with CCTV and auto-sensing machine guns will keep even the most determined scouser out or at least it'll do the world a favour by reducing the quantity of them (even those who talk posh)
