Prototype 6.2m Lake RIB
We just completed another refit at the back of my prototype 6.2m RIB. The hull and tubes are from some factory in China; everything else is a work in progress. Note this gets used in Canada on the Great Lakes and such; it will see coastal salt waters but that would be quite rare.
Anyhow here are some progress photos for those who like building their own stuff.
1st we fitted the T-Tops.
2nd we did the electronics.
3rd we overhauled the console and changed the position of all controls.
4th we changed the design of the transom; moved seats back; rebuilt the electrical from scratch, closed off the transom, installed an Atlas hydraulic jack plate and re-rigged the motor properly.
Test run was flawless; can't wait to have her back in the water this weekend.
