Quick shakedown in Dublin Bay
Had the opportunity through work to get my rib over to Dublin for a week,
so despite it not being finished!! I took it with me and managed to bodge through the final bit of wiring and get it out on the water for a couple of mornings. Windy and lots of short chop and some bigger lumps off Howth, the engine is running in as well, so nothing over 3000 revs at the moment.
Managed to grab a few pics when it was a little more sheltered...
Its the RB4 Gemini - from Small boats Big seas - retubed and re-engined.
HMS told me it was a wet boat - he wasnt wrong!
On the plus side - after 90 litres of fuel in the tank, looked like there was room for at least another 50 ! ... Small boat Big tank !
