Please keep us posted on what you think of the engines - speed - fiuel consumption etc. I am seriously thinking of buying one if the exchange rate improves.
What props are you using?

Here is the video - amazing but they don't sound very nice - horrible noise from the superchargers - do they always sound like this? a 2 stroke sounds much better!!!

Yes the compressor is more noisy but in the good way
Remember they do 6800 rpm (fuel 130 liter)
you feel more acceleration and they have more power to a bigger prop
I like them more than my Verado 300.
Are the price differance betwin the 300 and 350 okay.
That up to you. I think it is word it.

Sorry the bad pic, my camera in the phone sucks.
Just fitted 3 X 350 Verado on a Ring RIB 11,3m.
Soon test drive, ice should be gone in a week in Stockholm.
What props did you fit on the boat.

Can you beat £19,000 cos that's what you can buy it from the US for - inlcuding shipping - VAT and duty.
As the $ is starting to drop again because they have decided to print more like Zimbabwe did then hopefully it will be back a sensible level and I can get the engine for about 15,000 which is much more like it!!!

Hi Petrov
I use Rev4 25" 6760rpm 76kn 88mph
And 2 holes up with engine, Bravo1 30" 6240rpm 79,4kn 91mph
The best in wave is the Rev4. That is also the one I have on in the video.

Hi, is that with twins or a single?
I have a 24 trophy prop on mine, do u think a Rev 4 would have been a better choice?

Most dealers in the USA seem to charge about that. The problem is they may not sell overseas and the warrenty could be a problem but if you say the engine was used on your own boat in florida then brought it back they can't just leave you in the lurch.
I have a mate who has a house in Florida so I would get him to buy it on my behalf.
Some dealers may also operate like this if you ask.
It is so wrong that we have to pay so much more than they do in the USA - the engine costs the same to make no matter where it's sold!!!

What Mercury over here says is that you cant run a US bought engine over here, they are not the same, they have made some modifications so they can be runned on the European octan, they say that a US engine will break pretty quick, this is only the 350 that is built by Mercury racing not the other Verados, if its thrue or not i dont know, i let some else test it.

yes the 350 has no knock sensor on and it need to bee ajusted for the EU 95 octan
The mercuryracing has the passport for the inboard racing engine, where they ajust the engine to the fuel.

Hi I am getting up to 62 knots at 5850 rpm. I think the Verado 300 max revs are 6200?
I will see if i can get a rev 4 locally to borrow.(probably not though)
Many thanks for your help.
