Redbay 850 waterjet
Seeing as 200 miles is a long was to go just to buy Alan Priddy a pint and catch his trumpet solo, we figured it would be better to go early, oogle a few ribs and snag dinner in Harry's - to pad his performance out a bit, as it were...
There was a lot of cool new stuff on the main floor. In fact, in build there were:
3 x 11m Cabin
1 x 850 Jet
2 x 950 Charter boats - twin twin 300s!
1 x 750 cabin
1 x 7.4m open (Red Thunder's boat)
...and 1 x 16m Pilot Rib growing in the mould
The 850 (I think) is for London Port Authority. She's a bit of a departure for Redbay as the tubes are demountable and the deck has open scuppers. The engine cover and console swing off for easy access and she has a lot of usable deck space. The raised deck allows for a deep storage area in the forward open area. I think the power is a 315hp Yanmar, purely as I saw one sitting beside her. This was to be coupled to the Hamilton Jet with a German carbon-fiber drive shaft, light enough to hold in one hand.

950 x 3
The other pair of 950s are soon for Southampton. The twin Suzuki 300 rig will be entering service with a rapidly expanding charter/thrill ride operation there. The other with twin Verado 300s will live close by in the same marina. Top end with these is estimated to be in the (very) high 50s
The three 11 meters have been variously commissioned by: a hotel in Sweden, a well known Antipodean from the City and old friends Kintyre Express. I was very taken with the adapted stern platform on Kintyre Express III. It takes up a similar space as the standard boarding platform, but now increases useful deck space by over 2 square meters with very little weight penalty.
Dunno who's getting the 750 Pocket Cruiser, but he's a jammy git!

You are correct one 950 with twins is bound for Southampton in next few weeks for trials and engine run ins before going live end of March. Scary it may be faster than the 50 you mention

The general feeling is that it will be. I just don't like to make big claims for a dry hull

Yes, but they were deflated, so I spared your blushes
She looks well, more jockeys than Aintree...

Quick, Deploy the :willk: !
I'm Officially wrong, again...
I was hauled into the office today and had the error of my ways made clear to me. Apparently I've been making wild exaggerated claims on t'internet...
willk: "Eh?"
Boss: "You've only gone a stuck and extra meter on the 850 Jet!"
willk: "Bu@@er, does that mess with the coding?"
Boss: *smack*
willk: " ![redface](https://www.rib.net/forum/images/smilies/redface.gif) "
...a thankless task, I can tell you. Apparently if it happens again, there's "Mao" places on the Re-education Programme.
So - pictures of some boats - I wasn't allowed didn't get on any of them

Frankly, I'm not to be trusted with details. I stuck a meter on the poor boat, so which Hamilton it is, I have no idea! Sorry
