Changed my mind Alex. I put the a frame on plugs again. Gold played VHF plugs and the standard bulgins for the navs. Now we can take the frame off

Got one tank fully converted. Have put a Yamaha fitting in the tank so you could use standard yam fuel hose if need.
This set up will have just one hose from the filler that will plug into either tank. It was suggested a two way valve but that would mean more pipes. This is simple and straight forward

Without question while Biff has put everything into this - without Fiona being so understanidng of a load of us pitching up in her kitchen drinking tea things would have gone much slower ! Hope all is OK .
Have this mornig had this little beauty turn up in the post - Black with a grey stripe to match the tubes - very very cool ...
Top marks to James & all at OCA covers
edit - its on my desk at the mo - but I'm working on being able to be over at the boat tomorrow ( the weekend for sure )

Big thanks to Steve & Ian at UK Battery Sales in sandwich, kent. 01304 619000 who think the charity RIB project is an excellent one and donated a brand new 100Ah marine battery today... Now in my van on its way to Hampshire!
Their numax leisure / marine range have 3 yr warranty and as well as good deep cycle ability have very high CCA for starting use.

We have now completed the refurbishment of the original tubes, with all new rubbing strakes, handles etc,and a couple of images are attached. If anyone is interested in them as replacement tubes, please let me know. The price and payment terms remain as below

After this is done the tubes would certainly provide many years of useful life. So what I would like to do is the following:-
Restore the tubes to a good condition with new strakes etc, and then offer them to anyone for a sum of £1,500.00 plus VAT. £750.00 of this will need to be paid direct to the Just Giving web site for this project(This therefore avoids paying VAT on this part of the payment). and the balance of £750.00 paid to Henshaw Inflatables Ltd. This part of it will attract VAT at 20%.
I will also include sufficient fabric and Bostik for fitting the tubes. (If the purchaser wanted us to fit we would do this at a nominal charge)
The charity therefore benefits to the tune of another £750.00
Of course if the purchaser wants to increase their donation to Just Giving just do so!!

With such a special job to do, our very own Ribnet wiring dudes from Positive Marine Electronics break out these bad boys
They are Heat Shrink Crimps with hot melt glue inside, only the best for our RIB 4 Macmillan and reassuringly expensive too
Well done lads

The whole rib gets a rewire and the lads break out some very serious looking battery cables, they unwind the whole drum and then thread the two ends from the engine to the console, when these tails are the right length the looped end is cut to size at the engine so there is no wastage, very impressive
Thank goodness for Biffer's hose
