Tue love the video. Why is that blue and white rag flying at 20knts? We all scream at boats coming over divers when they are in the water, saying they should know what an A flag is, but what's the point if we leave them flying 100% time.

The flag was flying because at the time we still had a pair in the water (not near the boat before anyone says anything) and as with most RIBS the only way to remove water is to put the trunk down and drive. Once the last pair was recovered we took the flag down for the journey home.

California law has no requirement to fly a dive flg when divers are down. There is, however a law (largely ignored) that prohibits flying a dive flag while *not* diving. Go figure. I personally fly both a diver down and an Alpha flag anytime anyone's in the water.

Thanks Tue, I'm glad that as a club you show how it should be done. Sorry to sound pendantic but I suffered a 'drive by' while hanging on my DSMB with my daughter, NOT FUNNY! Please post more video if you can, I'm feeling dehydrated at the moment!

Great picture quality - nice to see people now have a CHOICE about downloading or streaming!!! Maybe one day the big boys will follow suit!!!
I have never dived in the Uk - all mine was done in the Red Sea - looks a bit more difficult in British conditions.
A mate of mine has dived all over the world - Maldives - Red Sea - Florida - Oz - and he reckons the best diving he has ever done has been off the West Wales coast - I wouldn't have believed it but he was really serious!!!
When I get my boat I will take up diving again - really miss it - cave diving is my real goal though.

Look, I'm sorry, Codders, but all these references to mates are beginning to confuse me Now is this the mate with the Ferrari, the one with the Aston Martin or the one with the helicopter? Or perchance, the one who's just come back from Iraq and has applied for the Special Boat Squadron? Come to think of it, I haven't heard you mention much about Prince Albert of Monaco recently. Did he ever give you that tenner back you lent him that time?

Sorry PD - I know for someone like you it is very hard to grasp that some people actually do have more than 1 friend!!!
Actually he was a headmaster who has taken early retirement to breed REPTILES
maybe you would like an introduction??? - Actually I am NOT joking!!!
He also owns a RIB - but only sees it as a way of getting out to go diving - what a waste!!!
And no he didn't the bas***d!!!

Tue, enjoyed the videos, keep em coming. I'm getting over a heavy cold so no diving for a couple of weeks. Codprawn, West Wales does have some great diving, we go there as often as poss'. Are you sure about cave diving? You know what all the great cave divers have in common, they're dead. On that sad note, news is we have lost three divers this week, our thoughts go out to their loved ones.
