A bath tub to drawn as quickly as possible by Quick Silver. I wonder, don’t these people see how ugly this is and how unsafe in the sea it may become?? Is OK for a lake but not for the sea!! UNBELIVABLE!!

Hulls

MeMe
I think they are trying to cover up the ten year old trailers the boats are sitting on.

Richard don't think that the majority of the boats there were any younger either
Seriously though, the only new boat at the X is the Hummer Hull 31 Open. Aparently has taken them 7 years of design and testing to produce it. The Cabin version was produced 1 years ago and now they have built the open version but with cabins again (only usefull for theGreece though in the summer).
The boat according to the manufacturer due to its dynamic and very hydrodynamic design can plane quicker than other boats of the same length and similar weight (about 1600kgs), thus you can use a relative small engine to power it and and can keep consumption to the minimum.
Have attached a photo that explains why I think.
On the right is a conventional hull boat with water active surface at 8.54 sq mtrs. Where as the Hummer Hull has only 3.63 sq mtrs, due to the step hull. But only to be used for long boats over 9mtrs+. Is not good for short boats (aparently)

Yea, I'd have liked to have ....

seen a few of those in a little more detail. My Medline also comes with a Shower Kit, not that I have one fitted but I do feel most tempted to do so just for the hell of it and for the grief I'd enjoy from some of my fellow NWR buddies

Thanks Manos, that's......

a shower kit on the Port side (looks like a telepone). Is there a real need for trim tabs on such a light craft ?

Yep the telephone is the shower
In Greece people think that the more you have on a boat the better it is. I think the actual term for this kind of people is KITCH. But you got them everywhere
MeMe I don't think that you need trim tabs for this short of RIB.

MeMe

You DEFINITELY don't need flaps at this size, but as you propably know ignorance is not the best advisor. Any one who wants to be called "SKIPPER" adds on his boat whatever the salesman suggests.
