RIB X Athens 2004

Hi to all,

Here is a set of photos that I took last night when I visited Athens RIB-X 2004. This is supposed to be the largest RIB X. However, having looked around I did not see that many RIB exhibitors neither I saw any new style RIBs.
Most of the RIBs were old styles with a bit of shiny metal on.
The RIB that has actually impressed me quite a lot was the X-TREME built Open 31ft RIB HUMMER HULL OPEN. You will the photos that I took and this is my new project for next year

A bit about the RIB, it comes with open deck and two double cabins one aft, one forward. Has toilet with shower, cooker and galley forward. A single 250bhp motor can power it and according to the designers and producers it can reach 38knots. It has a stepped hull, as you will see.

pictures however, where the hell is everyone ? It doesn't look that well attended, perhaps it was press day ! Also, it's strange how they've covered up the hulls when in most cases it's the hull everyone wants to look at !
