They are sold by a seperate company (rib-x) run by Colin Baldwin.

From what i gathered he is not a dealer for Falcon. He buys the hulls in bulk from Falcon and fits them out and sells them under his name.

Partially correct simmons0.

RIB-X do buy the hulls from Falcon with the tubes attached and they also get the consoles etc from them except engines, trailers, lights, wiring etc. When the staff comes into the UK RIB-X assembles each boat. Can't see the logic in doing that my self as prices in SA are 50-70%+ less than in the UK but here you go. May be they economise on the container load.
They also buy boats from other SA makers.
What they have done is that instead of having different names and try to marketthe same product i.e. boats they chosen a name fo fit all makes.
I cannot see that this wrong as the market is small and everyone knows what they buy.

Rat sorry I missed too. But I was and still am in Greece. finishing some paper work for my boats (now just found that the other lot will be even more delayed and I'm FURIOUS!!!!) and then off to Santorini by the end of next week to start renting them out and make some money

.

Hi Beeny

Its been a while since we last heard from you hasn't it, did the SA security forces finally let you out or did you buy your way out instead, nothing supprises me these days and in this day and age justice can be bought at a price

So hows things going down there in Sunny Africa, have you been hard at work building those loverly Falcon ribs we love over here in the UK so much one day i plan to go on safari down your way for a bit of game shooting, maybe i'll pop in and say hi and check out how you build those boats.
