Yep, the little flip took these videos and even the wife can work it as it only has one big button!
The really "interesting" part of the run was not filmed as we were both trying to stay in the boat at the time, not an experience I want to repeat again if possible.
Overall it was worth doing for the experience but I reckon the RIB will never go south of the border again as it just isn't worth it compared to what we have on our doorstep, its really no contest although it was nice to meet some folk. Hopefully they will come up here and see what what they are missing.........

Next year we go from Whithorn and go across to IOM from there..........

As marked on the map, the coastline from here south towards Holyhead seems to be very similiar rock most of the way along and quite rugged.

This is the sort of thing I mean, this is the view from the window beside me at this very moment, I just had to open the door and take the picture.
Anybody fancy a trip to the small isles camping if the weather co-operates

Oban bay Bruce if I make the image out? Lovely night better than here. I use to live in Oban when I was a boy at Glencruitten, brings back lovely memories.
Cheers

Bruce I was really small when I left and cannot remember any of my school mates sorry. As my dad was the por at GC and i was later employed by Alginates I can remember such people as Alfie White and larry Forgrieve. Still come up regularly when I am in tayvallich.
Cheers
Billy
