Rigid Inflatable but not a RIB

I just have to share this experience with you guys. A few weeks ago I had an opportunity to go out into the Southampton waters on a Griffon Hovercraft and I just loved every minute of the ride . This particular model ie the Griffon 380 has inflatable tubes - just like a rib and a rigid hull . Quite an experience and I also got the chance to drive it however no camera around for evidence.

. Totally different to driving a rib but would not do a swop.

Would have been nice to have one up here today as we could not launch a boat today as our slipway and marina was 80% covered in ice

It would be nice try one of these beasts one day
