River Thames 3rd Jan

Back to work was tomorrow
had to go boating
Putney
wet
not too cold
boat in
needed Landrover
not much water in ere lad!
in
parked car
slow down river
lots of new flats
punch down through central london
quite mild
not too bad
boats coming up river for boat show
big wake off plastic fantastic
quite a nice plastic fantastic
Limehouse Basin
Very nice lock-keeper
very friendly
moor up
barley mow
lunch
light for me
Burger!
bigggg chips
Lemon tart come eventually
crisps behind bar look interesting
get some next time
Spy Couple having office romance
also another couple
ooooo!
now they are kissing
time to leave
helmets on
hazy
down river a bit
round the dome
not too cold
back up river
drain tube string comes off
wet hands
doesnt get fleece wet under mustos though
dont like doing the cuffs up
back on
up the river
quite easy out
dont buy anything in putney
pay for launch
go home
good day on the river

Looks like you had a great day all the same!!!

Is there a charge for launching at Putney and do they charge for parking??? Also is it tidal dependent??? Any pontoons or walls to get into boat to avoid getting wet???
