Royal Marines in Southampton

The Royal Marines were in Southampton today to prepare for deployment to Norway for their winter training. I was lucky enough to be onboard some of the new hovercrafts being taken from Griffon Factory in Hythe up to Marchwood to be loaded on board RFA Ship Largs Bay along with Offshore Raiding Boats and Landing Craft. All being fueled up with special kerosene fuel that will work in sub zero temperatures.

Sorry some of the pics are a bit rubbish as it was getting dark.
