Indeed you are correct, the link doesn't work. This is because the server crashed the other day and needed a new HD installing. I believe this was sorted but clearly the data recovery wasn't so successful. Hopefully will be back up and running soon.

Keep up the good work with all these videos.

I put them on my Ipod to watch when I'm stuck somewhere boring, miles from the sea. Sad I know.

No worries!

I'd just like to thank Benc for letting me join him on his boat otherwise there wouldn't be any vids! All being well I'll be at the Rib Raid with the vid cam although im sure i won't be the only one!

I'm fairly new to this forum and was just checking out some old gallery stuff and found this. Great video.

We were out that evening as well. I had been racing Mermaids (a type of boat, not a cruel sport!) at Seaview and just about managed to get across in front of the fleet at Haslar to collect my missus and kids to come back out and watch them struggle through the lack of wind in the Solent. Got some fabulous photographs but no video because..........

a couple of Sundays before we went out to welcome Ericsson and Pirates of the Caribbean back from the Transatlantic leg. It was raining, it was 20-25 knots of wind and they were doing 16.4 knots upwind with a reef in the main and a no.4 headsail. We got some great coverage but when we got home we found the video camera and my phone had both drowned. My mate had put them in his Gill jacket pocket and it turned out that it wasn't as waterproof as he thought..............

We went out for the Inshore Race as well. Awesome! Watching them bear away around the windward mark and accelerate from 15 knots to 25-30 knots (if they could keep their kites in one piece, whoops Ericsson) was just amazing. Truly the most fantastic ocean racers on the water at the moment.
