Front mount towbar, great for tight spaces

Does that make any difference for manoeuvring assuming you can reverse? Never really seen the point of it by the time you unhitch and rehitch etc

Makes a big difference for me, I am limited with space round the house and a 90degree turn, 6m on rear of defender the reverse ain’t happening, hitch on front works a treat, yes a bit more faffing about hitching on and off etc buts it’s the difference between me be able to store boat in shed. The single axle 5.5m delta I could move about by hand, the 6m twin axle not a chance

I agree. I have a detachable front mounted bar and it’s the only way I can get my boat in.

It's offset on one of the chassis members - with the steering wheels then almost in line with the hitch point, the geometry is all different - the flexibility and control is amazing.

Of course, a 110 has a turning circle of a supertanker - so everything is a bonus.

Mine has both a central and an offset one. But to 2nd willk, the difference it makes to manoeuvrability is quite profound.

Yes I guess on a 110 with a steering circle of as you say a supertanker, it would make a difference because the steering input will translate into trailer movement much faster. With a shorter wheelbase vehicle, it’s less profound.

Mines a 90. But it’s a very very tight space I have to fit into.
