the sib is gone long live the searider i was a tad upset seeing her go but 2 sibs 1 rib and a frenzy kayak seem a tad extreme for a chap who lives about as far away from the coast as is practically possible

That sorted the issue out. Ditched the capping. It now handles and runs beautifully

located in the stern part making it even more stern heavy? Suprisingly small amounts of water are known to decrease stability, not the oposite.
But main point, issue sorted even if we dont know exctly why !

Yeah strange I know as the boat does release the ballast at speed. It just didn't seem or feel right when it was capped. Not a good boat at all so had to at least try. Instantly transformed the boat so pleased I've got another good SR in the fleet now. Not to shabby at 33.4knts either and whisper quiet

DM, I note that your Barrrus tanks are black. Is this an original colour or did you spray them?
I have four grey ones which are in various states of UV degradation. I've yet to have a good look inside them to check the state of the pipework/pick-ups etc but hopefully should be able to fettle two good ones from the four.

Either way, I've a feeling I'll be dropping off some polycarbonate to you in the New Year....

I sure got a few good waves today.
Yeah at 174kg she is a heavy lump but by god that boat is well planted.
Not sure I'll be out in weather like we had yesterday or what is to come
I would to still have a 2 smoke in the fleet. Just so noisy and by god they drink the juice
