Yep, agreed.

I must admit that I'm always a tad nervous though when any boat I own is suspended in mid-air

Thanks guys...

From the moment the truck is stopped to the moment the boat is floating free takes about 3-4 minutes and is incredibly easy BUT. I've noticed one issue though. As soon as people see a crane truck carrying a rib turn up at a marina/slipway/quayside...... they all start watching ( a small crowd formed last time)!

You just know that if something goes wrong then you'll be on YouTube withing 30 seconds! ;-)

Simon

Very nice boat and the weather looked fab. We were at Filey on Saturday and I was wishing I had brought the Rib but it was a long way to Windermere to collect it!

I bought mine with a 55hp 2/s on and it seems fine. I have noticed a few comments saying that a 55 may be on the big side for an SR4, what size is yours ?

Four little Sea Riders all in a row. Mine's on the left. Bought a 25HP 4 stroke Yamaha (high thrust) last season but need to re-prop it this year.

Hi Heino,

I ended up with a 11" dia x 14" pitch which gives around 33knots at 5800rpm wot, which is plenty fast enough for me, any faster and it starts to chine walk

a photo from a recent trip to Bardsey Island from Caernarfon, with Andrew enjoying a good blast, the Honda 50 just sips fuel

Stargazer.

Took a couple of "before and after" pictures of my searider. I re anti fouled the hull from a worn away white to black. I used EU45 and am well pleased, it went on really nice and easy, primed the hull first with their brand primer.
Well pleased with the results.
Also a couple of pictures moored up by Weymouth town bridge.
Seem to be uploaded as attachments?
Ah not too bad then, at least they are showing.
