Solent blast (January) video

Ive been meaning to put this up for ages (since January). Finally got round to downloading it off my video camera yesterday so here it is. Sorry its a bit crap but trying to keep a steady hand in a 4m rib isnt easy.....

Was very cold but we had loads of fun. The drinks in the Kings Head kept the winter chills out a bit

The boats in the video are: Cormorant (my little white 4.1) the Portsmouth Uni RIB (grey 4.8) CJLs 585, and Rogue Waves 5.4 Searider which Jimbo borrowed for the day. Lurcher and outandabout also came but suffered various breakdowns in both boats at Calshot and Yarmouth and in the end had to call Sea-Start so they didn't make it to the needles.

I think later afternoon cruises are a lot more fun (we didnt get back to Calshot until after dark) especially when you get a nice sun set like we did that day.
