Solent/Needles and lunch

Had a great day out on Saturday. We hired from Solent Rib Charter, I've no connection with the company. Very slick, turn up get the key, head off for a great day. Their 8.8 metre Ribcraft really does ride very well.

Met up with some friends in a 6 metre Ribeye, for some blasting around and buzz out to The Needles - where I now realised we saw Andre on the Parker!

stopped for lunch at 'The Hut' in Colwell Bay, where they come and pick you up once you've anchored. Excellent food and the kids could play on the beach while the adults tucked in...

Newtown creek for a bit of paddle boarding was the next destination. We'd been joined for lunch by family in their Scorpion, and my youngest and her friend decided that was a much better way to travel!

We dropped the Ribcraft back to Lymington and then headed back to Beaulieu on the Scorpion.

Fantastic day that we'll all remember for a very long time.

That Scorpion can seriously move....

Food at The Hut was really good. Liked the fact they dealt with the kids really quickly. We had 7 small kids with us in total, and their food arrived as quickly as possible.

The adult food was great, you need to book a long time in advance, but certainly worth it
