Spring Cruise 2016
Spring has finally arrived. A winter of fettling is past. The willkcraft is tied up, gassed up and crewed up for an early depart tomorrow. Where to? Good question! I can only say "North" because we have no defined itinerary over the next week or so - just a sea of Islands to explore...
I'll keep you posted

I think the first two are beyond Gurnard territory! I've been the second pic several times (by ferry) but even having brought the boat on the ferry never made it to the light house. big wind and waves in that part of the world and nothing else until Canada...

But have you made it to the Skerryvore (pic 1) in the Guppy yet?

I tried to wiki " Gurnard " to see exactly where one might turn up.......?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triglidae
Not very helpful really , mostly on the bottom but sometimes in the shallows
It did say something about them having very thick skulls but I don't believe that for a moment..........
