stainless steel tank removal

now i klnow why every onew says do not have one built in,
this beuty leaked from day one of me buying it, finally took the plunge to remove it,, be jeezus what a job, never again

at least it gave me a chance to re anti slip the floor in orange
also fit my new console me liking this lots now, only item that ever let it down,

nice to have that tank sitting so low in the hull gives it a lovelly centre of gravity and greatly gave me some much needed fuel capacity, as was running of a 40 ltr mobile tank right pain in the ass.

thought in for a penny in for a pound
took a further plunge and sorted out the many scrathes dunts in the front grp nose looks like new if i do blow my own trumpet

and yes its another osprey,

i have been out in many ribs but i bloody love the ride this old beast gives me 100% grin factor surely a bigger one can only get better.baring in mind i have owned a 6.5 vipermax,

its a 62ltr job, from marine scene,i could of fitted a larger one if i used all the console space up, but i wanted it low in the floor, + it fitted in the hole that was there.
i have another tank with fast clip on fuel system that fits in the front of the console of another 42ltrs, for them further cruising days

I've always thought I'd like to sink my tank into the deck but it would get full of salt water

BTW, that console looks smart. It's the same one as DM's isn't it?

Ahhh!
Me is starting to think about selling the searider and trying to get an old Osprey. I do like the look of them! Only trouble is-is finding the £X000 I'd need to put to it
