Start of the 2022 GB Row

NER was asked to provide safety cover to the start of the 2022 GB Row Event in London.

The event is a race around the UK in ocean going rowing boats. They start under Tower Bridge and the winner is the first boat back after their circumnavigation. They can go either way around but the prevailing conditions tend to mean they travel the same way!

Brilliant...is there a website that we can track the race ? Which way round did they go?
Any idea how long it will take ?

Hopefully none of the teams made the mistake of thinking it was round the UK rather than Britain and made the diversion round (Northern) Ireland!
