As forecast, good day today – was dying to take out the Protector but the other boats were crying out for attention. Took Mini Indaba and Big Indaba out for a stroll – went out the river and over to Cowes. Saw some boats blown up banks - including a cruiser close to the garden at the Folly Inn. Other boats near there had turned over and sunk on moorings. All peace and calm at the moment - but expecting the next low tonight. The jet stream is currently running at record speeds – up to 300mph! Next gale may not be as bad as forecast but have strapped everything down again as I am sure it will be rough. Beaulieu River was deserted except for Simcal and a mate – on the other hand did not hear any arguing – so perhaps it wasn’t him.
