Hi there Manos - what happened to that 72 knot / mph / kph race boat of yours - I'm sure I'm not the only person who wants to see it?

Not so Richard. We won them marbles off Mr Elgin fair and square and ever since we've had Nana Mouskouri or whoever she is whingeing for 'em back. We had a place similar to the Parthenon in Wolvo. Falling to bits and a real eyesore but Tesco's snapped it up for a new supermarket. I bet yer can't buy cheap lager in the Greek version.

Manos,
Never make assumptions about people you don't know.
I have been to Greece and many other places, and I still prefer it here, it would be better if all the tourists would leave us alone and go to Greece but for some reason they don't.
BTW why do you live over here if Greece is so good?
Ribraff, Torquay was not too good for us. The sea was flat and we seem to be down on power, but we finished and are in the best position wev'e ever been at this stage of the season.

Is there a moderator here ?
The whole thread sucks !!!!
Come on. This is a forum about ribs and not about countries. A a RIB is a RIB in the UK, Greece, USA or China.
Regards
Dimitris

Dimitri
Agree but you can enjoy a RIB (or a boat in that matter) better when the climatic conditions are right for it.
A RIB is a RIB in the Arctic but when you are frosen to death what is the enjoyment you get out of it??
Any way I stick by my statement 'one can enjopy a RIB better in Greece'.
There are 500-600 islands to chose from and user-friendly seas, warm sun-shine and warm seas (short of)

How about YOU can enjoy a RIB better in Greece, and I enjoy em more in more challenging conditions. Each to their own and all that.

I think Manos is right, boating in fab, warm, clear water, with brill weather is without doubt more appealing than UK waters, however, we don't live in greece, so it aint that simple!

Guys it was just a comment.
I didn't mean to open a debate where is best to cruise on a RIB.
As you say UK is good, may be Spain is nice too and Poland, Germany, Norway, Montenegro in ex Yugoslavia and Sardinia and Malta and many other places also.
It all depends what you want to do and where you can afford to go.
PEASE NOW?? be cool and enjoy RIBing!!!

OMG, I actually agree with something that Jon Fuller says! I must go and lie down. Maybe I could subcontract all my work out to someone at the national minimum wage like Manos does, and then I could tour the world by RIB. Alternatively perhaps RIBnet members could sponsor me to research the best coastline to go RIBing? I promise to report back

Only a comment. You're not so bad in your real persona (this is your real persona, isn't it?). Actually I was pushing Manos's buttons... Anyway, I thought you used to be into into "light hearted fun" but your profile now says you've got no interests. That must be boring!
Chill dudes!
