Today saw us wend our way back over the hills to Redbay to collect herself the Rib from Annual Service. The lads were very busy with a new launch (more of this later) but Tom took a few moments to discuss his latest addition to the stable. You can bet this new baby will set her owner's pulse racing. She is a carefully crafted GRP rendition of an old wooden ship's tender that some Caladonian mates of Tom's have been rowing across the way. It seems that after a few wee Potent Libations, Tom agreed to propagate said craft to spawn an entire class of racing skiffs. And so it came to pass
She is light, nimble, and harkens back to the old days before outboards when hustle required muscle. Check that "wineglass" stem and the broad, load bearing waist. Someone's gonna have fun with these girls...
I should add that the final trim remains to be fitted.
